Hung Lam is an attorney with experience in a variety of matters, including trademark prosecution, litigation, and litigation support.

 

Mr. Lam has experience in the equity capital markets (primarily initial public offerings) and M&A transactions. 

 

He also has invaluable experience and insights in the business world through private business ventures in the sports energy drink sector, which allows him to understand the business realities facing clients, helping him to better serve the needs of clients.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Dowd Scheffel, Mr. Lam worked in business, government and at a leading international law firm.

​

After law school, Mr. Lam worked for the Australian government for a number of years. He then joined the global law firm, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he worked on equity capital markets (primarily initial public offerings) and M&A transactions. He subsequently went on to gain invaluable experience and insights in the business world which allows him to understand the business realities facing clients, helping him to better serve the needs of clients.

Mr. Lam attended Monash University, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts.

Status

​

Mr. Lam is admitted to practice law in Australia (but does not currently practice law in Australia).  Mr. Lam is not currently admitted to practice law in the United States.  He has passed the New York State Bar Examination and is working to complete the pro bono requirement for admission to the New York Bar.  Any work performed by Mr. Lam is supervised by principals of the firm.
